| KlearKote's Vanilla Moose was the beginning of an insane new paint care "system" that I tried on my car for the 04 season. I applied it with a foam pad and the PC set to 5, and the results were stunning. The paint had an amazing new brilliance and crazy gloss, but what blew me away was the color - Never had my car looked so blue, even in light where Estoril shines its lightest the car just looked stupid wet. More importantly, the deep reflections that I had come to expect after years of using Zaino were back. Even the lower rocker panels were shining deep, and they are usually comparatively dull! And not only is the Vanilla Moose good for the paint, but it also dresses up the black moldings, window trim, and glass on the car !!!!! It's an insane product!!! And to tell you the truth, most people would have been happy with the eye-widening reflectivity and would have been happy to stop at the Vanilla Moose....but I knew of one more step.
I followed the Vanilla Moose up with Poorboy's World EX-P Sealant. In a word - Wow. Just wow. I applied and removed this one by hand as the PC seemed to be removing it (even when set to 1) and I wanted a nice coat to give it time to sit on the paint. I laid it on what I felt was a bit thick, and even still used very little of the enormous bottle. It smelled nice too - as did the Vanilla Moose. I let it sit for an hour and toweled it off with absolutely no effort, and pulled the car outside.
The result was the most insanely clear, wet look that I had ever seen on my car. It looked like the paint was covered with salad dressing, or that the paint was actively flowing over the car. I honestly cannot find the words to describe how crazy it looked, and there was no sun! It was extremely overcast, and yet the finish was still absolutely alive!
Yesterday I applied one more coat of the EX-P (as no more than two coats were recommended) and I look to be done for now. The car's reflectivity is out of control, and the paint is clean, and super clear-looking especially at night. I still may top the EX-P with a coat of carnauba wax, but right now I am enjoying the KlearKote/Poorboy's shine so much that I just can't bring myself to do it.
